What happens when artists gather with curiosity? When movement intersects with music, theater, film, and place? When audiences become part of the creative journey rather than simply witnessing the outcome?
The 2026–2027 season continues projectALCHEMY's commitment to creating contemporary dance experiences that are immersive, interdisciplinary, and deeply connected to the communities that surround them. Throughout the year, artists from across the Tampa Bay Area come together to premiere new choreography, nurture emerging voices, collaborate across disciplines, and invite audiences into experiences that celebrate imagination, experimentation, and transformation.
This season moves through museums and theaters, studios and shared spaces, celebrating not only where dance can happen, but what dance can become.

MIXed: Pulse of the City

November 20–21, 2026
A gathering of contemporary dance, film, and choreographic voices inspired by the people, places, and rhythms of St. Petersburg. Featuring new works by company artists Jonah Perez-Lopez and Justin Brock, guest choreographers, and the premiere of MIXed: Across St. Pete, a dance film by Joey Clay capturing site-responsive movement experiences created throughout the city.
Spring Collab: Midsummer at the Disco

A fair(l)y groovy collaboration where contemporary dance meets theatrical storytelling in a reimagining of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream filled with movement, music, and disco-inspired celebration.
