Jonah Perez-Lopez is an artist originally from Orlando, Florida whose goal is to manipulate improvisational movement to create atmospheric contemporary works. He graduated from University of South Florida with a Bachelors of Fine Arts and found his artistic voice there and through the teachings of Michael Foley, Andee Scott, Bliss Kohlmeyer, and more. He has also been featured in works by Joshua Peugh of Dark Circles in New Mexico, Jennifer Archibald, and even choreographed and assisted in the first professional performance for Collectively / here in Tennessee. He aims to stay grounded in his values and continue to show the community the dance as inspired by everything around him and not just what is expected. He is so grateful to be back performing with projectAlchemy and is looking forward to continuing to evolve as an artist and be inspired by the company members.
