Lexi Montgomery began dancing at the age of three in her hometown of Colorado Springs, Colorado. She grew up exploring ballet, modern, and contemporary movement at local studios with her beloved teachers Stacy Smith and Brittany Walker. At sixteen years old, Lexi joined the Colorado Ballet Academy where she further studied classical ballet and contemporary movement. In 2021, she joined Charlottesville Ballet as a Trainee, and in 2022 she began her time in Oklahoma City Ballet’s Post-Graduate Program. Here she taught for the community engagement department under Erica Portell and found her love for community engagement and outreach opportunities. Lexi then went on to dance, choreograph, and teach with Roanoke Ballet Theatre, until moving to Florida and finding community with projectAlchemy. She is very excited to learn and share her love of movement with this community!
