In this class, dancers will explore and build on their own dynamic physicality moving in and out of the floor. Through a warm-up that is geared to activate the body from the ground up, dancers will awaken and mobilize the limbs and joints, while discovering new ways to fold and to expand. Steadily building in physicality and complexity toward a full-body phrase, this class invites the dancer to approach movement with improvisational modalities and imaginative thinking.
